Northern Pacific
The province of Guanacaste encompasses dry, wet and humid forests, including the protected areas of a few remnants of tropical dry forests, which once extended from Mexico along the Pacific coast. Today, the tropical dry forest has virtually disappeared from Mesoamerican scenery.
The region of the Northern Pacific is one of beautiful landscapes including pristine beaches, volcanoes, and wild rivers.
The climate is hot and dry during the summer, from December to April, and hot and humid the rest of the year. The average annual temperature is 27,5?C. Guanacaste is blessed with plains and dry coasts from January to April which blossom with vegetation during the rainy season.
In this idyllic region, you bask in the warm waters of the great Pacific under a radiant sun and trek through some of Costa Rica’s magnificent national parks.
